Founded in 1981, Boston-based Analysis Group is one of the largest international private economics consulting firms. Our clients receive thoughtful, pragmatic solutions to their most challenging business and litigation problems. We have provided litigation support to more than 500 law firms, helping with pretrial discovery, development of economic and financial models, preparation of testimony, and critique of opposing experts’ analyses. Our health care practice focuses on health economics and outcomes research, market access and commercial strategy, policy engagements, and drug-safety engagements in epidemiology. Since day one, our company has recognized that the quality of our work is a direct result of the quality of the people we employ, not the number of hours they bill. Accordingly, we have a single profit and loss statement for the entire firm, and while we operate as a partnership, we do not have individual sales credits or formula-based compensation, which is rare among professional services firms. Also, while most professional services firms assign new consulting hires to a specific area, we encourage ours to chart their own courses using an "internal labor market" that enables our employees to choose what type of work they want to focus on and with whom. This creates a virtuous cycle in which case team managers have an incentive to be great managers and developers of people, in order to attract the most talented staff.
