Bill Curtin, II, and his wife, Eleanor, began an answering service in Madison, Wisconsin, in the 1950s. Bill worked overnights and invented communication technologies that would eventually become the foundation of Amtelco. Eleanor was a trend-setting office manager who worked outside the home in addition to being a wife and mother. As Eleanor and Bill’s family grew, so did their company.
Amtelco was founded in 1976 and remains a family-owned company located in McFarland, Wisconsin. Amtelco is a respected provider of interoperable, comprehensive, and customizable communication software.
Its products offer automation, integration, and leading-edge technology, including cloud-based and AI-powered solutions, for healthcare, call centers, answering services, and other organizations.
