American Podiatric Medical Association
The American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) advances and advocates for the profession of podiatric medicine and surgery for the benefit of its members and the public. Representing a vast majority of the estimated 15,000 podiatrists in the country, APMA promotes the growth and stability of podiatric medicine by increasing nationwide awareness of foot and ankle health through public education and legislative advocacy. Many view APMA as the leading resource for foot and ankle health information.
Purpose
APMA is a not-for-profit membership association for podiatrists -- doctors who treat the foot and ankle.
Vision
To ensure that podiatric physicians and surgeons are universally recognized as the essential providers of foot and ankle care.
Mission
APMA advances and advocates for the specialty of podiatric medicine and surgery for the benefit of its members and the health of the public.
Additional Culture Details
We constantly strive to emphasize the team approach in all of our efforts. Employees view the team approach like one found in a family where everyone supports and looks out for one another. We have many long-standing employees who have come to appreciate the work culture and are happy to be members of our team. Of the current 56 employees, we are proud to note that we have six individuals who left APMA and later returned after realizing that their home was here rather than elsewhere.
