Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences
Established in 1881, Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is a private, independent institution committed to graduating the best health care minds in the world. There are more than 1,700 students enrolled at the College and approximately 115 full-time faculty members.
The College is best known for its Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program, but in recent years the school has added bachelor's degree programs in Biomedical Technology, Chemistry, Health and Human Sciences, Microbiology, and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
ACPHS also offers master’s degree programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Health Outcomes Research, Biotechnology, and Cytotechnology & Molecular Cytology. In addition, ACPHS students may pursue joint degrees in the fields of medicine, law, and business through cooperative agreements with area colleges.
In 2009, ACPHS opened a satellite campus in Colchester, Vermont, which currently enrolls 270 students. The campus is home to the only Doctor of Pharmacy program in the state of Vermont.
