Ajax Metal Forming Solutions is a Minnesota-based advanced manufacturing company with three U.S. locations. Ajax produces precision metal parts and assemblies for HVAC companies, architectural/engineering firms, medical device manufacturers, heavy equipment companies, appliance manufacturers, transportation equipment manufacturers, and other engineered products companies, both domestic and international. Ajax uses sophisticated, computer-driven machinery operated by a highly-trained workforce to shape steel, aluminum, copper, brass, and other metals into parts that comply with tight dimensional tolerances. Ajax is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 in recognition of our quality processes and our record of continual improvement. Ajax is headquartered in Minneapolis, with additional locations in Tucson, Arizona, and Wilson, North Carolina.

Ajax Metal Forming Solutions remains committed to building our workforce and filling the skills gap with talent management initiatives. Work environment is our main objective, Colleagues must work safe and have the team attitude to succeed while building their educational background. We encourage colleagues to take advantage of educational opportunities like M-Powered course through Hennepin Technical College, Sheet Metal Fabrication Course at Anoka Technical College and +Connect (A Minnesota State Collaboration Training Program) through Pine Tech College to gain the education that we can’t provide during our daily “On The Job Training”. Our Apprenticeship program leads our colleges to excel. This gives our “Bench” the opportunity to grow alongside our seasoned veterans who transfer their knowledge and experience to our apprentices while continuing to advance to higher level of proficiency. Currently, 39% of our shop floor colleagues have completed the Apprenticeship Program and have their Journey Worker’s Class A Certification, and we have 9 Apprentices’ engaged into becoming Class A Journey Workers. Military veterans have also enhanced our culture, bringing multiple backgrounds and experiences to the work place. Many veterans want to work with both their mind and hands, while making an immediate impact on processes brings new ideas to the workforce. Continuous Improvements drive ideas from colleagues through management. In past two years, over 475 Continuous Improvement ideas came from colleagues, this drives colleagues ownership in the procedures and processes that are implemented. Continuously challenging our colleagues to achieve the next level drives friendly competition thought out the company, while bringing production levels up.
