Aerotech began with the idea of using advanced automation technologies to solve the most challenging manufacturing and testing applications of the time. Founded in 1970 in an East Liberty garage, Aerotech today serves customers worldwide from large multinational corporations to entrepreneurs pursuing their business vision, just as our founders did many years ago.
From our home in the RIDC Park O’Hara, we continue to not only engineer and design market leading automation solutions but continue to manufacture them here in Pittsburgh. We recently completed a twenty million dollar expansion in the park, underscoring our commitment to American manufacturing and our employees in the region.
At our core we’re still a group of makers, builders, crafters and people who like to figure out how stuff works and how to make them work better. At Aerotech, we build careers and continue to grow by investing in the cornerstone of our success - our employees.
