ACR Homes
ACR Homes has a reputation for providing exceptional care for people with disabilities in 57 ACR homes throughout the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. ACR staff also provide care for the elderly, including memory care, at Arthur’s Senior Care. At both ACR and Arthur’s, our staff help meet the physical, medical, and emotional needs of the people we support so that they can experience life to the fullest.
Exceptional care requires exceptional staff. ACR hires only about 10% of applicants. Among ACR’s employees are many students seeking patient care experience. It’s a win-win: as direct care staff at ACR, students and recent grads benefit from unparalleled experience doing meaningful, life-changing work. They can also access ACR’s internship program and great mentoring and networking opportunities. In return, ACR’s residents benefit from the talent, high energy, and problem-solving skills of high-caliber staff, many of whom continue their careers at ACR after graduation.

Purpose
It is our goal at ACR to provide the best possible physical and emotional support to individuals with disabilities so that they may lead fulfilling lives. We’ve put the key concepts we use to accomplish our mission right in the name “ACR”, which stands for Acceptance, Communication, and Respect.
Vision
It is ACR’s core belief that all human life is intrinsically valuable. The value of life is not diminished because a person is disabled, unborn or near the end of life. Value is not determined by whether the person is independent or totally dependent on others. It is not based on productivity or on physical or intellectual potential or accomplishments. Value is not dependent on whether a person has family relationships or friendships. It is not contingent on being wanted, loved or admired. Human life is intrinsically valuable and worthy of dignity and respect simply because it exists. This core value is central to everything we do and every decision we make at ACR.
Mission
Within the context of our core values and "resident agenda", it is our goal at ACR to provide the best possible physical and emotional support to individuals with disabilities so that they may lead fulfilling lives.
