A to Z Wineworks was started in 2002 by two Oregon wine industry couples and found immediate recognition for offering high quality wines at great value. In 2006, the group bought REX HILL Vineyards and Winery reducing production by 77%, refining and refocusing the legacy brand to achieve the highest quality.
A to Z sources grapes from different soils and micro-climates across the state for greater complexity, depth quality for the wines remaining true to the initial mission of offering Aristocratic Wines at Democratic Prices™ that deliver the Essence of Oregon™.
A to Z demonstrates that land and people can benefit from business success if, at every level from suppliers to production to distributors to trade, practices are economically as well as environmentally and socially sound and sustainable. As businesses grow, opportunities for greater good grow with them. In May 2014, A to Z received third party certification as a B Corp becoming, at the time, the only certified winery in the world.
