4C for Children
4C, the region's leading resource in early education and care, works to ensure that all children are prepared for success in school and life. 4C provides training for early care and education professionals (25,000 attendees enroll in our 1,500 annual classes and workshops). 4C coaches child care programs to higher quality and facilitates participation in state quality rating systems. 4C supports parents (with parenting and child development education, free child care referrals, school readiness programs) so they, as their child’s first teachers, can optimize their children’s development. 4C advocates at the local, state and federal level for high-quality early education for all children. Currently 4C is playing a key role in a local initiative, “The Preschool Promise,” that will make quality preschool accessible and affordable for many more young children.
