At Energage, we’re passionate about making the world a better place to work together. We empower leaders to create positive change in their workplaces, employees’ lives, and society. For 17 years, our employee engagement survey has given over 27 million employees at more than 70,000 organizations a voice, and we’re committed to doing even more.
That’s why we’re proud to be a certified B Corporation. These are for-profit companies prioritizing social and environmental responsibility alongside financial success.
Using business as a force for good
The B Corp movement started in 2006 and has grown to include over 6,000 certified companies in 89 countries. Energage is a founding member of this community. Our participation in this movement is a way of life for us and a commitment to positively impacting the world through our decisions.
Much more than a feel-good marketing campaign
The B Corp certification is more than just a seal of approval. Companies must meet rigorous standards to become certified, ranging from employee rights to environmental impact and community engagement. They also commit to a journey of continuous improvement.
The B Impact Assessment provides valuable direction, identifying strengths and focus areas. This framework helps us to set meaningful goals that increase our impact as we work towards our mission of making the world a better place to work together.
How to support the B Corp movement
March is B Corp Month, and this year’s #WeGoBeyond campaign celebrates how B Corps are going above and beyond to impact the planet and all its people positively.
The world is facing some significant challenges right now. So how can you support the B Corp movement? Here are my three recommendations:
Search for certified B Corps
As a consumer or job seeker, look out for companies, products, and services with B Corp certification. Check for the B Corp logo on their website or packaging, and support businesses that prioritize social and environmental responsibility.
Advocate for change
Spread the word about the B Corp movement to your loved ones and encourage local companies to consider becoming B Corps. Using your voice to promote sustainable and ethical business practices can make a real difference.
Become a B Corp
While becoming a B Corp isn’t easy, the benefits are significant – for your employees, customers, and the company. By prioritizing social and environmental responsibility, your business can positively impact and set an example for others.
Create a positive impact as a B Corp
B Corps demonstrate that doing well and good can go hand in hand. Creating real, measurable impact sets a standard for other companies to follow. Join us in supporting the B Corp movement and working towards a brighter future for all.
