The 25th Home Sargento built with Habitat for Humanity in Milwaukee, was the 1,000th home the charity dedicated. Sargento has been Milwaukee Habitat's longest corporate partner, beginning in 1992. Hunger Task Force Exec Dir. Sherrie Tussler, Board Chairman Lou Gentine, Packers Tight End Jared Cook. This was our 14th Touchdowns for Charity season. In those years, Sargento has donated more than 1.1 million dollars to hunger relief thanks to the Packers offense.
Sgt. Yliyah Weber-Hawkins in the Army National Guard, is also a maintenance apprentice at Sargento. He nominated his supervisor Steve Jesinski and his HR liason Sonia Otte for the Patriotic Award given by the ESGR: Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. This award is presented to employers who go above and beyond what is required by law to support military employees. Sgt. Weber-Hawkins was grateful for all the support he received before and after he deployed to Afghanistan in 2015.
