Medline Raises Awareness. Hospitals around the world are going pink! Medline's Pink Glove Dance video competition inspires tens of thousands of hospital staff, nursing home caregivers, first responders, and others to spread the word about early breast cancer detection through dance. Medline donates a portion of each sale of the Generation Pink gloves and other Medline pink products to the National Breast Cancer Foundation –with more than $1.2 million to fund free mammograms. Medline Responds. Medline employees, just moments after taking cover in storm shelters during tornados that slammed the Oklahoma City area, jumped into action to deliver much-needed medical supplies. With support across the company, employees loaded up supplies and raced to the hardest hit areas. Known around Medline as the “Oklahoma Strong” response, employees companywide celebrated the dedication of these colleagues. And they continue to embrace the spirit of giving back in their own communities.

Medline Innovates. A 2012 Chicago Innovation Award winner, Medline demonstrates innovation leadership with the first FDA-approved antiviral medical face mask – proven to inactivate 99.99% of laboratory-tested flu viruses on 5 minutes contact, including pandemic and seasonal strains of influenza. The Medline BioMask, available at both healthcare facilities and retail, has changed how people fight germs. In honor of this distinguished award, Medline employees rang the NASDAQ bell on February 23, 2013
