Uber Technologies - Atlanta
Uber’s mission is to make transportation as reliable as running water—everywhere, for everyone. We started in 2010 to solve a simple problem: how do you get a ride at the touch of a button? By seamlessly connecting riders to drivers through our apps, we make cities more accessible, opening up more possibilities for riders and more business for drivers. With UberEATS, we have been able to leverage Uber’s technology and driver partner network to deliver the food people want when they want it. Now, we’ve started tackling an even greater challenge: reducing congestion and pollution in our cities by getting more people into fewer cars.
Purpose
Uber strives to celebrate cities, which means building a culture around understanding and strengthening the city of Atlanta. Knowing that riders and driver-partners depend on us every day for a safe ride or a flexible earning opportunity, we prioritize an office culture that will help us best serve our customers’ needs.
Mission
Make transportation as reliable as running water—everywhere, for everyone.
Additional Culture Details
In the Atlanta office, we look to plan cultural activities that help us better understand our city. For example, our monthly Speaker Series has recently featured Atlanta leaders such as Paul Morris of the Atlanta Beltline and Frank Fernandez of the Westside Neighborhood Prosperity Fund. We’re committed to helping team members work on projects that align with longer-term career visions and dreams. Our staff is dedicated to making sure driver-partners have the resources they need to succeed and seek the regular input of a Partner Advisory Council. We host regular driver appreciation events, most recently a luncheon honoring driver-partners who have served in the military.
Values
- Celebrate Cities
