Pinecrest Consulting is an insurance brokerage, financial services, and strategic advisory firm providing boutique services to small and midsize businesses. Our team of experienced insurance experts, finance strategists, and consultants has helped helped over 1,100 Pinecrest clients optimize their group health coverage, navigate complex tax credits and audits, and improve efficiency and profitability.
Purpose
Pinecrest's mission is to provide enterprise-grade insurance coverage, benefits administration, and financial services to small and midsize businesses, enabling them to achieve benefits and value that would typically require the resources and expertise of much larger organizations. We help them navigate the complex financial and legal world of tax credits, improve their employee healthcare coverage and rates, and identify and implement new processes and technologies to drive innovation.

Additional Culture Details
At Pinecrest, everything starts with our people. We place tremendous emphasis on office culture by offering a fully stocked break room with snacks and drinks, multiple catered meals per week, and various lounge areas for employees that include couches, massage chairs, and 4 TVs with various video game consoles. Emplyoees can often be found engaging in Nerf gun fights around the office, having putting matches, or throwing footballs.
We are also family-focused, offering employees with unique childcare needs more flexible working arrangements or the opportunity to bring children into the office occasionally as needed (we have dedicated space for them with snacks, drinks, and TV). We have previously hosted a Kona Ice truck for families. We are taking a company trip to Las Vegas later this year.
We also offer an unlimited time off policy, allowing employees to take whatever time they need for holidays, personal time, family, etc.
We take leadership development very seriously. We publish information on what can be expected of managers/leaders and the specific competencies required to advance to each level of management to help employees feel a sense of career trajectory.
We also run regular surveys, both non-anonymous and anonymous, to ensure we always have our fingers on the pulse of employee engagement and satisfaction.
