Aegis Aerospace Inc. is a minority- and woman-owned company providing commercial, turn-key space services, spaceflight product development, and engineering services for the civil and commercial space and defense industries.
Aegis Aerospace, founded in 2021, was created by combining MEI Technologies Inc. (MEIT) and Alpha Space Test & Research Alliance (Alpha Space), bringing together a company with nearly thirty years of space and defense experience and one of the world’s leading commercial space companies. Alpha Space was known for developing, owning, and operating the first woman-owned facility on the International Space Station (also one of the busiest!) and for lunar systems that expand its Space Testing as a Service (STaaS™) services to the moon. MEIT was known for expertise in systems engineering and integration (SE&I), IT and cyber solutions, modeling and simulation, support services, and space access.
