AW Health Care is located in University City, a suburb of St. Louis. AW is one of University City’s largest employers with 60 employees based in the University City office and 400 employees overall, serving 1500 clients throughout the Missouri and Illinois region. The AW in the name means “Aging Well”.
AW Health Care provides medical and therapy services in the home after a hospital or nursing facility stay, or after an injury, fall or physical decline. Private duty services are available to help with household chores and personal care. Services also provided include chronic disease management, senior care navigation, adult day care, transportation, wellness programs and mental health assistance as well as onsite outpatient physical therapy.
Services can be provided not only in English, but in any preferred language, and delivered with great sensitivity to different cultures and religious traditions.
