CMC Food, LLC. is a 2nd generation family owned and operated fresh shell egg company founded in 1984 by Charles Culley. Today, CMC is run by his son Michael Culley who joined the business in 1993. Michael’s 23 year of experience in the retail and wholesale egg business has brought CMC Food to producing over half a million dozen eggs per week in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. CMC has a state-of-the-art production facility located in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
We employ approximately 100 people working in production, sales, warehouse, logistics and office departments. All these departments work together as a cohesive team. We support each other and our surrounding community through our charitable work with the Family Reach organization, local food banks, soup kitchen and local schools.
We are USDA certified Organic, certified Humane and certified Kosher. Our own fresh shell egg brand, The Farmer’s Hen, supports the sustainability of small family farming. Our vegetarian fed hens are free from hormones and antibiotics which produces the freshest and highest quality egg in the marketplace. The Farmer’s Hen is available in Free Range, Organic and Pastured Raise varieties.
