In effect, the organization works daily to drive visitation to one of the country's most unique and authentic destinations. Visit San Antonio's employees are united – and successful – in that cause. Consider that according to research by Trinity University, San Antonio hosts 37 million visitors a year as part of a $15.2 billion tourism industry, making it arguably the most popular destination in the state. It's a remarkable city, with a diverse lineup of attractions in almost every corner of its landscape, and as a result more than 140,000 employed San Antonians work in the hospitality sector.
