Saint John's is a community committed to knowing God along with the consequences of what such an encounter will bring. We offer a spiritual home for all ages, from infants in the Mother’s Day Out to young families in our Vacation Bible School to seniors in our Tai Chi class in the Parish Life Center. Now located at Central and Greer, Saint John's Episcopal Church was founded on the corner of Semmes and Spottswood in 1878. Together, the people of Saint John’s built a house of worship, beautiful music, and service that produced premier Memphis institutions, The Memphis BoyChoir, Inc. and Bridges USA. In more recent years, Saint John's has become a place for growing families, community engagement, and spiritual healing. We welcome all comers to a place where souls encounter the Living God in word and sacrament.
