About Matick Automotive Group

We operate from integrity, which brings honor to all we say and do with complete commitment to our guests and our team. Our unmatched growth during the last five years is a direct result of empowering our employees to personally take control of customer situations and provide immediate solutions for our guests. We want guests to leave our dealerships and auto wash knowing that their visit was the “best part” of their day.

We became an Elite GM Dealer for 2016-2018, ranking as a top 1% Chevy dealer in the U.S., by following our founder's Golden Rule: Treat each guest with respect and a genuine concern for their total satisfaction with every service we provide. That same rule applies to our staff as we strive to maintain the best working conditions for our employees.

We purchased the Toyota dealership in 2016 and our team has increased new-car sales by more than four times that of the previous owner.

Dealer Karl Zimmermann (left) recognizes the dedicated honorees for Matick Toyota Employees of the Quarter and the Year. Matick Toyota is one of the fastest-growing dealerships in the Midwest. Zimmermann purchased a 30-year-old existing Toyota dealership in 2016 and moved the facility into a completely remodeled and rebranded sales and service operation in early 2018.

The Matick Chevy sales team, dressed in a special Detroit Tigers jersey worn for the event, celebrates after a successful August customer open house that included tours, special promotions, foods trucks, prizes, games and more. The LEED-Silver Certified indoor showroom is the largest in the Midwest.

Dealer Karl Zimmermann presents special awards to several individuals who celebrated more than 30 years each as Matick employees. Charlie (middle) for example has been with Matick Chevy since it was founded 52 years ago.

Matick Automotive Group hosted a Motor City Wheels for Meals fundraising event at its new Matick Auto Wash (the largest in the Midwest) that raised more than $20,000 for various metro Detroit Meals on Wheels programs. The event also included a luncheon for more than 700 Meals on Wheels volunteers who prepare and deliver the food to needy seniors.
