Beacon Health Options is the Administrative Service Organization (ASO) for the Connecticut Behavioral Health Partnership (CT BHP), and an integral part of the Connecticut behavioral health care delivery system. We have developed collaborative relationships with State agencies and stakeholders within the community to improve services and supports for some 800,000 Medicaid recipients. Our programs value peoples' strengths and support self-directed recovery, enabling members to live with a sense of mastery, competence, and hope.
At their root, recovery, resiliency, and wellness are much more than the result of medical and psychiatric interventions. The Partnership believes that recovery embraces whole person wellness, and that members should receive services at the appropriate level of care, often within the community, . The Partnership helps Medicaid members function independently, achieve a better quality of life, and remain in their homes and communities, avoiding unnecessary hospital and institutional care. We help people live their lives to the fullest potential.
