St. Augustine Health Ministries
St. Augustine Health Ministries, a not-for-profit, faith- based organization, founded by Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland, has been a leader in residential and community based services for 50 years. St. Augustine serves approximately 1,000 individuals each day from all faiths and all walks of life. Our primary focus is in serving the chronically ill and aging of our community with special attention to the poor. Services include independent and assisted living at Emerald Village Senior Living Community; assisted living, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and long-term care on the St. Augustine Health Campus; and home health care, residential and community-based hospice through Holy Family Home Health Care & Hospice. St. Augustine also provides congregate and home delivered meals to seniors and offers an early learning and child enrichment center. The staff know that caring for others involves more than providing shelter, food and health care. It is about helping each person to find healing, purpose and meaning ~ helping them to celebrate life through each stage of life.
