W.S. Cumby was founded in 1981 by William Cumby, Sr. and William (Bill) Cumby, Jr. We are proud to see it enter its 42nd year under the leadership of Bill, Jr. and William (Bill) Cumby, III. As owners, we are intimately involved in every project W.S. Cumby takes on.
W.S. Cumby provides a full spectrum of professional construction services including Construction Management, General Contracting and Design-Build. Our client base has grown to encompass a diverse range of building sectors and we are proud to have a long list of repeat clients from the educational, religious, healthcare, non-profit, senior living, multi-family and hospitality fields. We are based in Springfield, PA and proudly serve the Greater Philadelphia and Tri-State areas.

Purpose
Across our team of over 50 professionals we employ estimating and preconstruction specialists, project managers and project engineers, site superintendents, a field team of carpenters and laborers, and support staff in accounting and project management support. Our offices are in Springfield, Delaware County, PA.
W.S. Cumby offers Construction Management, General Contractor, and Design Build services. Our typical annual volume is $70-85 million, and our current active project size ranges from over $40 million to under $1 million. We offer the detail-focused approach and craftsmanship of a boutique construction manager with the expertise and market presence of a larger firm.
