Regeneron is a leading science-based biopharmaceutical company with its Industrial Operations and Product Supply (IOPS) facility located in Rensselaer, NY. The IOPS organization is responsible for the manufacture, distribution, and quality assurance of all finished drug products (vials, syringes, devices, etc.) through both its own internal drug substance manufacturing capabilities and a network of contract partners. In early 1994, the Rensselaer site was purchased for large-scale bioprocess manufacturing to support the R&D activities of Regeneron’s headquarters based in Tarrytown, NY. Regeneron markets medicines for eye diseases, colorectal cancer, and a rare inflammatory condition and has product candidates in development in other areas of high unmet medical need, including hypercholesterolemia, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, and atopic dermatitis.
