Dynamic Dies, Inc.

Founded in 1971, Dynamic Dies is a leading manufacturer of printing plates and cutting dies for the packaging industry. Along with corporate offices in Toledo, it is also home to the entire graphics division and the largest cutting die operation within the company. The company’s expansive Sales Team, along with our growing Tech Service team, focus on serving our customers’ needs while the Corporate team focuses on our employee’s needs. The success of Dynamic Dies is attributed to our greatest strength – our employees. The belief that if you take care of your employees they will take care of the customer; has helped Dynamic Dies grow from a handful of employees to a national company with facilities in 3 states. While Dynamic Dies may be a company that is involved in creating boxes, we don’t keep our employees in those boxes. Over 25% of Dynamic Dies employees have been with the company more than 25 years and each has advanced or been promoted as the company has grown. As stated by founder and President, Tom Sullivan, “Dynamic Dies employees are a force to be reckoned with”. Dynamic Dies employees are proud to be that force as the company continues to grow.... Additional Culture Details

At Dynamic Dies, employees experience a unique culture where everyone is truly treated as family. The founder was an 8 year old orphan coming to the USA for adoption. He learned early the value of family and carries forth those values to this day within the company. Newer employees will say it is a great culture, like they have never experienced at other employers. For us ‘long-timers’, the culture is a way of life/work and we appreciate it!! A great example, when one employee had to decide between badly needed tires for his truck or Christmas for his kids, the ‘family culture’ at DDI stepped up and made sure both happened that year for the employee. During the 2008/2009 recession, many companies were laying off 20-30% of their workforce. Not at DDI! Our employees themselves chose to work together and agreed to all cut their hours/paycheck by 5 hours a week per person so no one would be without a job and no family would be without medical benefits. That just what we do at DDI. We are a not just team . . we treat each other as family. That explains why 25 – 40 years of seniority amongst our employees is not uncommon. This family oriented culture is successfully continuing as son of the Founder, Pat Sullivan has taken the responsilbiity of leading us into the next generation of caring employees.... Read more
