The UCPath Center is the transactional hub for human resources, payroll, benefits, general ledger, workforce administration and academic processes across the entire University of California system. Located in Riverside, California, the UCPath Center will serve more than 200,000 employees from each UC campus and medical center as well as vendors, location administrators, and policymakers from the University of California Office of the President. Once fully deployed near the end of 2018, the UCPath Center staff will remain committed to unparalleled customer service, continuous process improvement and ongoing technological upgrades. The UCPath Center will execute the objectives of the UCPath Project. Part of the University of California’s Working Smarter Initiative, UCPath is a system wide project to align HR, payroll processes and technology. The project includes replacing UC's 30-year-old payroll/personnel system with up-to-date technology and establishing a shared services approach to support all UC employees.
