About Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living (LVCIL)


Since 1990, LVCIL has been the Lehigh Valley’s premiere source for disability services, support and information. As the region’s only cross-disability organization, LVCIL serves people with all types of disabilities of all ages, and their family members. The organization provides four core services: Peer Support, Information and Referral, Advocacy, and Independent Living Skills Education. In addition, LVCIL provides specialized services including housing case management, specialized housing services for Veterans, a 24-hour sign language interpreter referral service, job coaching, youth transition services, both in-school and community-based, ADA accessibility site surveys, and waiver supports coordination.
