Every year, Wheeler staff support the NAMI Connecticut Walk in Bushnell Park, Hartford.
Wheeler staff participate in community events throughout the year, including the Rockwell Park Summer Festival in Bristol. Staff from Wheeler's Family Health & Wellness Center provided health screenings and talked to residents about services offered.

Wheeler's foster care programs help provide 24-hour supported family homes to children and adolescents whose lives have been disrupted for reasons including neglect, abuse and abandonment. Foster care staff present to community groups and at local events throughout the year.
