Laurel School, founded in 1896, is a nationally recognized, college preparatory, independent day school for girls, kindergarten through grade 12, with a coeducational pre-primary program. We know girls--how they learn, think and feel. For over 100 years we have taught girls to claim their voices and develop as leaders. Girls thrive in our compassionate community. In this atmosphere, charged with intellectual vitality, bright girls embrace challenges in academics, arts and athletics. Laurel has two campuses—our traditional campus in Shaker Heights that is home to pre-primary through grade 12 all in one building.
