Bay Cove Human Services is a non-profit agency committed to improving the lives of individuals and their families who face the challenges of developmental disabilities, aging, mental illness, and drug and alcohol addiction. We accomplish this mission by providing effective and compassionate services and through advocacy and leadership. Bay Cove serves more than 6,000 people each day and 20,000 people per year throughout Boston and Southeastern Massachusetts.
Bay Cove's professional, compassionate and dedicated staff are committed to supporting a wide array of men, women and children facing the challenges of mental illness, developmental disabilities, addiction and/or aging in a variety of settings, while offering highly individualized services crafted to address each person's unique set of circumstances. Each year, Bay Cove serves thousands of people, one person at a time.
Health and wellness programs of all types abound throughout Bay Cove, including medically-supported residential programs; physical and behavioral wellness supports for individuals with mental illness at our Gill Wellness Center in Jamaica Plain; and nutrition and exercise programs for seniors like Fit-4-Life (pictured).
Bay Cove's Early Intervention program provides services for children under the age of 4 who've been diagnosed with developmental delays in our Child Development Center in Dorchester, as well as in children's homes.
Bay Cove hosts a variety of special events intended to help drive community engagement with the agency's mission, while also fundraising for our vital programs. These events range from an annual gala celebration, to a charity golf tournament, to benefit road races like the Elsie Frank 5K for Kit Clark Senior Services.
