Advocacy organization representing cities; providing training for municipal officials and services to Georgia's city governments including life/health insurance, retirement and workers' compensation insurance
One of the highlights of GMA's Annual Convention is the opportunity for staff to interact with city leaders.
GMA celebrated its 80th birthday with a picnic in the parking lot for employees and guests, along with games and a caricature artist.
For more than 50 years, GMA has sponsored the Mayors' Christmas Motorcade, a charity that provides gifts to the clients of the state mental health hospitals. The project started with First Lady Betty Vandiver and has been a project of First Ladies ever since. Here, First Lady Sandra Deal and Palmetto Mayor Clark Boddie greet people along the motorcade route at the Atlanta regional hospital.
Every year, Santa comes to visit the kids of GMA. The kids spend the morning visiting Santa, making treats for Rudolf and creating art projects. It's so much fun to see the kids growing up over the years!
We are constantly being encouraged to develop and share new ideas for the future of our membership and our company.
I feel I am truly helping city employees to enhance their retirement options.
Brilliant, dedicated co-workers and the team we create.
GMA is the greatest employer and membership is wonderful.
