About Clinica Campesina/Family Health Services

Since 1977, Clinica Family Health has provided a full spectrum of primary health care to low-income, uninsured people living in western Adams County, Broomfield County and southern Boulder County. This includes regular checkups, preventive care, minor surgical procedures, health education, behavioral health care, case management, obstetrics, in-hospital care, full-service pharmaceutical services and dental care. Clinica forms a critical piece of the health care safety net. In the absence of our discounted services, community members who do not have the resources to meet routine health care expenses would be confined to seek primary care at emergency rooms, urgent care centers, or other more costly venues.

Some would likely forego care completely. In 2014: • 67% of our patients were below the federal poverty level. • 95% of our patients were below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines ($48,500 for a family of four). • 30% were completely uninsured. • 57% were Medicaid recipients.
